I swear the best for old hippie stuff is yard sales and homemade. Walking into my house was like stepping in a time warp. I had old late 70′s sofas with handmade pillows. Beaded curtains (those I did by at a local head shop) incense burners in every room. Now it would be easy to drive down to “The Old Hippie” Store and buy it out but the truth is there isn’t one. Yard Sales, thrift stores, Antique stops that’s where your going to hit the jackpot. I was every little old lady’s dream at her yard sale. . If it was old, green or weird I bought it. If you wait and do it right buying real 70′s decor items You’ll have an amazing house that will be original and something to talk about. . . the items at PB anyone can buy but items like I had were pretty much one of a kind, they couldn’t be bought at a store. I was forever turning people down who tried to buy unique items I had such as early 70′s green/golden coffee, tea, sugar sets or console TVs. I miss my stuff. . . It’s back in the states. . .
