I have home taste as well as accessories – plants, pictures, mirrors, lamps etc. though wish to pierce some-more towards selling to businesses for offices, watchful rooms, usual areas etc. What have been a most appropriate approaches but cold calling

Yellow pages and fliers, get in touch with the owners of builings, consider giving workshops and seminars on the importance of office decoration, contact the chamber of commerce if they would be interested in seminars, they will do the advertising.

You need to network with the prospective customers on a personal level. Are you a member of an local business organizations? If not maybe you should join your local small business organization, they have events that are always crawling with people in the early stages of business, who are in new office spaces.

Some of the organizations have trade shows from time to time, it might be worth your while to participate.
